Man it sucks working on xmas day! Glad I was able to see everyone though for the most part.

Saw 'Wicked' this past Saturday after xmas and highly highly recommend! If you haven't seen it, do it ASAP!

All Done?

Everybody finish their Christmas shopping? I think I might try to brave it at the malls tomorrow...on the plus side secret santa shopping has been taken care of! =D

Week 3 on bed rest

Week 3: no changes in my status, which I suppose is a good thing. Sitting at home lying down all day is not as fun as it seems. Even people in prison get to go outside and shoot some hoops, mingle, etc. Who said having a boy was easy??? No one.

How come no one else writes on this puppy? =( Christmas and M&M's wedding coming up!!! Can I get an approximation for how long people are going to stay for xmas? I don't get off of work until around 4ish...but talked to the gf and she should be free to stop by and meet everyone if you're still around. I just don't know if you all will be gone by then! =(

Labor Day

Ok, so my job doesn't allow me much time to go to fun things anymore. =( Work Fri-Tues no matter what (holiday or not) So on that note, I was just wondering if anybody had any fun experiences to share? Guess you could argue this is my way of vicariously living through you. ;) Back in the bay and loving it, but aparently I miss all the family stuff for new reasons. hahah It was great seeing you Jen and Jadine!!! =)

Kristina's new stomping ground - Union Street

Just found out from the last party that Union Street will be occupied by yet another Yun. A long line of Yun family members have spent there young adult lives in this place. I can't tell you how many fun and happy memories I have at that place. I know Kristina will love every minute of it. Everyone has a story about this place.

Jadine just told us a story about her memories of rats, while living there. No worries now, Goldie got rid of all of them and it is rat free. As far as I remember.

Stacie's highlights:

Having a 5 minute commute to work on the 45 bus
St. Patty's day on Columbus street every year!

Hey Fam! Hopefully sometime in the near future you get a chance to meet my new girlfriend Pauline! (yes, more duplication of names in the family see- Mikes and Tinas.) =) I really hope you like her though because she makes me really happy and it's been a long time since I've found a girl that is able to keep up with my randomself! In a few words she's cute, family oriented, cantonese, outgoing, easy going, thoughtful, intelligent, caring, sincere, random, funny, and goofy. So I'm pretty confident she would mesh well with our family. Anyhows, we hope to meet you soon!

All About the Food?

Hey all! Celebrated my bday in the city with some close friends from high school. Went to this place for dinner and wanted to share it with you all http://www.yelp.com/biz/pisces-california-cuisine-san-francisco I'm probably going to give it 4 stars...they have a nice little 3 course dinner meal thats about $28 out the door. Decent decor...so for you Yuns in the city try it out if you want something kinda new and different. I had the lobster ravioli but other options also include salmon and porkchop. When I get back out there dating I'd probably come here. =)

Sorry Pinole cousins about Sunday! I totally would have came out if I knew earlier and didn't ride the bike. ACK! Another year older! =P Happy to have almost everyone home though...*cough cough Jen and Jungs cough* =D

It's a Girl!

Not sure if you guys know, but Nicholas is having a GIRL!

Talking about bbq, I liked Memphis Minnie's, lower Haight (beginning of Haight as you leave the downtown area), a funky, little hole-in-the-wall, where of course the southern style bbq is slow cooked for hours. You know it's decadent because they even fry their pies! Only drawback-it's a super small place - like if Alfred goes, even by himself, woah, place is full.

It was lots of fun havin' you all over for Mother's Day last Saturday. Glad Kristina is back. Devastaded that Dylan is momentarily a hater, but glad to see she is good with Dennis, although still tough for me. NEVER smiled to a girl or woman and had her cry, but that's just me. Talk to you all soon.

Uncle Andy's Challenge

How about having a family event by going to the Gilroy Garlic festival in July 24-26 in a couple of months from now? I was checking out Stacie's FunYun's blog and notice you all went to Amadillo Willeys. If you think that place was good, you got to try Famous Dave's in Gilroy. That's why I concluded that if you all want to try Famous Dave's, we should check out the garlic festival too while we're down there.

We went to Famous Dave's when returning from a Hollister M/C ride, and every customer at Famous Dave's was obese. That's an indication of how good their food is! hahaha The BBQ ribs meat falls right off the bone. Anybody game?

Countdown to California

I am officially in countdown mode! I will be back in the Bay Area on May 7th! So I am very happy to get back to family, good Chinese food, better weather, and job searching.
